The Gas Boosters operate on the differential piston area principle. A large area piston, driven at low airpressures, drives a small area compression piston which converts input gas to higher pressure. The output gas or dis-charge pressure is determined by the ratio between the area ofthe drive piston, the operating air pressure and the availableprecharge pressure supply.The function of the precharge pressure is to charge the highpressure cylinder inside the booster with gas, reducing thetime needed to reach higher pressures. In double-ended gasboosters, the precharge gas adds power to the compression stroke.
Gas boosters works rapidly at first, then slows and stops at a pressure balance. The booster holds the pressure balance indefinitely, assuming no leakage.When a pressure imbalance occurs, the booster automatically restarts and restores the pressure balance. During operation, exhaust air from the air drive section cools the high pressure boosting chamber.

AIR AMPLIFIERS SERIE POWERSTAR - UP TO 34 BAR

• The PowerStar 4 air amplifier develops high output pressuresby applying the principle of differential areas. It features a largearea air motor piston (air driven at low 10-125 psi pressures)that drives a small area air piston that amplifies the incomingair pressure.

STANDARD UNIT FOR GENERAL USES

• Components include Sprague pump (single or double effect), air filter, pressure regulator and lubricator,  airshut-off valve, muffler, liquid bleed valve, air pressure gauge, liquid-filled liquid pressure gauge with quick disconnect fitting.
  Available with the addition of a by-pass circuit that allows quick fills from yourinlet source.

  We can add also a stainless steel reservoir.
